I am an illustrator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I recently received my BFA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a concentration on Illustration. I love a good plant and a good story :)

Current Work
Kaya Anderson-Head is a sapphic (and potentially genderqueer) artist working on concept art and promotional material for a comic. The comic revolves around five main characters, each of which has hit a hitch in their lives preventing them from moving forward. Through mysterious circumstances they wind up living together in a remote cottage, and find solace in each other's company. The goal of this project is to provide a space for escapism which queer people don’t often get with stories where they are represented. She wants queer people to see themselves in her work without having to see their real life hardships reflected back. Another goal of the project is to normalize diverse forms of gender expression and sexuality across race for those that don’t often interact with queer communities.
